Therapy

I see therapy as a journey to understand yourself, others, and the world with more compassion and clarity, so that you can experience deep healing, and move into life more whole-heartedly, joyfully, and meaningfully.

Types of therapy

  • Individual Therapy

I provide individual therapy for adults of all ages. Reasons for seeking therapy include, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, relationship problems, issues related to spirituality or religion, and life transitions. Your treatment plan and goals may vary depending on your reason for therapy. Goals often involve decreasing unwanted symptoms and increasing your resilience so that you can live a life that is more connected, whole-hearted, and meaningful.

  • Couples Therapy

I help couples repair and strengthen their connection with one another. Sometimes couples find it helpful to understand how some of their current feelings and relationship patterns are related to some of their earliest relationships. Ultimately, I will work with you to achieve your relationship goals and have more satisfaction in your relationship.

  • Family Therapy

Families often benefit from family therapy when they face significant life-transitions or challenges that strain family relationships. Circumstances that may bring a family to therapy include divorce, the death of a loved one, the adoption or birth of a child, financial hardship, parenting support, or a new psychological or physical diagnosis given to a loved one. I support family members as they grow in their understanding and acceptance of one another, create a plan to relieve distress, grow together through difficulties, and discover new ways of relating.
