Frequently Asked Questions.

Getting Started.

1

Request a free phone consultation.

You can ask questions about my services, and I’ll ask a few questions about your concerns. If I am the therapist for you, we’ll schedule a first appointment. If not, I will make a recommendation to a trusted professional in the community that may meet your needs.

2

Your first appointment.

Before your appointment, you will receive access to a secure online portal so that you can complete initial paperwork from the comfort of your home prior to the first session. In your first appointment, I’ll spend more time getting to know you and complete an initial evaluation of your presenting concerns. This appointment typically lasts 75 minutes.

3

A treatment plan designed for you.

After hearing about your concerns, we will discuss your goals. I will make recommendations for treatment. Together, we will decide on a course of treatment that is suited for you.

“Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it. Embracing our vulnerabilities is risky but not nearly as dangerous as giving up on love and belonging and joy—the experiences that make us the most vulnerable. Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.”
